This allegory shares numerous amazing and eye opening truths  for our religious world to ponder.  It is a good read for both religious and nonreligious  people.  Christians are to adorn the doctrine of God and our Saviour,  but too often religions have gone bananas and oppositely created harsh and oppressive rules  to create  their  own supposed righteousness.  Over the years I experienced many miraculous incidents encouraging  and  confirming  the the vital issues the allegory bears out.
